In August 2024 she received Honorary Member Award of  the International Association of Multilingualism.
Larissa Aronin is based in Israel.  She was a Visiting Professor at University of Silesia, Institute of Linguistics (2023), a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Linguistics and Philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA in 2014, Visiting Research Fellow at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland (2008-2017), and a KIVA Guest Professor at the Technical Universität Darmstadt, Germany (2016). Guest professor at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (2021). She served two terms (2010-2014) as a Secretary of the International Association of Multilingualism. Larissa Aronin is a Senior Researcher at TU Darmstadt .
